Cho Woo Yeol. CEO of eTunnel, took the mircrophone at the recent 20th anniversary event of the ‘Korea CEO Summit”(KCS).

The ceremony was hosted by the KCS and organized by The Marbles. Under the theme of “Web 3.0 contains urban, culture, convergence”, it was held with more than 500 people, including various CEO and blockchain officials.

eTunnel is a company that developed ‘Vein-X’ finger vein authentication technology. The technology is method of identifying using the blood vessel pattern of the finger.

At the event, Cho Woo Yeol, CEO of eTunnel, mentioned the seriousness of cybercrime and emphasized the need for stronger security solutions. He said “The finger vein authentication technology can be used in all industries that require identification, including the financial sector” and “unlike other finger vein authentication technologies used only in indoor environments. ‘Vein-X’ is a finger vein authentication technology that can be certified outdoors.”. “We are planning to develop the world’s first portable authentication device,” he said. “In the future, the finger vein authentication method using FIDO2 will become common worldwide.”

In addition, CEO Cho added, “In particular, the D.Volt de-central digital currency wallet developed by eTunnel is the most convenient and safe wallet in the world that generates and manages wallets using finger blood vessel patterns.”

Meanwhile, ‘CEO&NFT Auction’ was also held at this event. eTunnel donated the Vein-X smartwatch and the finger vein authenticator. All proceeds from the auction were donated to the victims of the Turkiye earthquake.
